Sandy has a Degree from Trinity College, Dublin - BBS Honors. He was a consultant with Price Waterhouse before working with the Synectics Consultancy Group in the area of Innovation and Managing Change. This led to his being a partner in the International Team working on Regional and Global assignments.
Sandy set up Alexander Dunlop with Bill Felton in 1996. The consultancy works with multinational organizations such as Nokia, Unilever, Danone, Diageo, Miller Brewing Company (Milwaukee), Helene Curtis (Chicago) and on brands such as Dove, Suave, Degree, Miller Lite and Guinness and in Ireland with Eircom, Glanbia, Kerry Foods and Guinness.
They have worked on Ireland as a Tourist destination with ITIC and OTMI and with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland on major cultural change projects. The Company has experience in a range of areas including Strategy Marketing and Brand Building, Training and Development, Process Consulting and Change Management.
Sandy is the author of 'The Golfing Bodymind' (1989), which explored performance and pressure in top class competitive sport. In 1997 he published 'Business Heroes' which uses Storytelling as a model for corporate innovation and change. His next book 'Lorenzo's Legacy' will be published in 2006. It relates to the recovering of Story Myth and Legend as a way of managing change and building Identity and Meaning.
