Maximizing Team Performance

Industry: Telecommunications; Challenge: Creative Communication

Challenges & Objectives
We are a leading worldwide telecommunications company with offices around the world. Our market share, although substantial, has been slipping recently. For us a 1-3% drop in share has significant consequences. Based in Europe, our plans call for continued and aggressive expansion in the Americas, as well as Japan and Asia.

Our work with Kiron is driven by our need to communicate better, both internally and externally. As we have grown, and our structure has become more complicated, our need to communicate effectively and with spark and passion, has increased dramatically. We wanted to provided our Senior Executives and other managers with some new, unique and powerful tools to help them deliver better presentations.

The Work we did
Through our Executive Leadership Team, Kiron designed and delivered a series of one day workshops on two continents to groups of 25 +/- participants. Through the use of cases studies, role plays, film reviews and small group work participants were introduced to the key elements of Storytelling. They then integrated these learnings into talks that were reviewed and critiqued by their peers. It was a fun and stimulating way to figure out the key messages they wanted to communicate and a new way to communicate those messages.

Results
Our Executives and Managers are making more succinct, colorful and engaging presentations and talks. This is motivating to them, helping to make their work more productive, and just as importantly, more satisfying.
